Assigning Check Numbers for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT)

It is easy for busy business owners to start finding little ways to cut out what may be deemed as unnecessary extra steps.  Unfortunately, the consequences of cutting out steps in proper bookkeeping procedures are not always evident.  Assigning check numbers is an easy way to cut back on time later when preparing and provide more relevant data for book review, but is one of the most common things for me to find missing on a new set of books.  The below video will help show three ways to easily add check numbers in the midst of your bookkeeping processes, with almost no extra time, but all the benefit.
